Children have been using Numicon to help them learn how to count.
Numicon are pieces of bright coloured plastic with finger size holes in it ranging from 1 to 10 to help children learn to count.
Numicon is used in the classroom as it is easy to handle and helps children count by having something to touch and see.
Pupils counted the holes using their fingers and then put beans in the holes to check they were counting the correct number.
They matched the pieces of Numicon against a number line and also painted their own individual number lines.
Children have also been learning how to correctly form their numbers 1 through to 10 in their Maths lessons.
