Air Ambulance Visit
On Wednesday 21st March the Air Ambulance came to visit Year R. This linked with the topic of Superheroes as the Air Ambulance crew are 'Real Life Superheroes.'
The children learned about how the Air Ambulance helps people, and who comes out in an emergency. The children dressed up as the different crew members: the pilot, the doctor and the map reader.
The children acted out a scenario where a child fell off a scooter and needed help from the Air Ambulance.
The children were asked to get help from their adults at home to learn how to call the emergency services on 999.
The children were also visited by 'Teddy Medic.'
