Children from Year R had their first trip out of the classroom with a walk around the Baffins neighbourhood looking at different types of houses.
As part of their current topic 'All about me' the children learnt about terraced, detatched and semi-detatched houses and went out to spot them in the local area.
They also found a bungalow, caravan and a block of flats on their travels.
The eagle-eyed pupils spotted similiarities and differences between houses as well as features such as porches, solar panels, television aerials and garages.
Children all thought about the type of house they lived in and we even spotted a few of their houses on our walk.
It was a fun way of learning about ourselves and the children enjoyed being out of the classroom for a lesson.
