In their animal groups, Class 9 designed a boat to meet design criteria:
1. It had to be buoyant
2. It had to hold their animal group teddy
3. It had to survive stormy seas
The children then made their group designs and then we went outside to evaluate them.
Elephants made the most successful boat.
