Mission Statement

The aim of the club is to provide good quality childcare with the emphasis on play. The club is passionate about play and the importance it has in children’s lives and their future development, we try our best to follow the play work principles.

We are registered with Ofsted and work within the EYFS statutory framework to ensure that high standards of childcare are met. Our Ofsted number is 143490 and we are currently rated as GOOD.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club opens at 8am. Children can enjoy a light breakfast of cereal and toast with their friends and still have time to play before walking to their classrooms with a play worker.

After School Club

The infant children are collected from their classrooms and the junior children are allowed to come directly to club after school has finished. Children are free to play from a wide range of activities including outdoor sports, dressing up, art and crafts, board games, lego and den making. The play is free flowing and self-directed; the children are supported in achieving their goals through good quality play. All children are offered a variety of snacks such as pancakes, beans on toast, fresh fruit and squash.

We value individuality and do our best to accommodate any additional needs and/or requirements.

Quality Assurance

Our aim is to provide a good quality play experience where children have the opportunity to follow their instincts, ideas and interests, in their own way for their own reasons. The play worker will provide high quality play opportunities to support and extend the child’s play by creating a space in which they can play, in a safe well-balanced environment. Our staff have extensive experience in caring for children and training is updated on a regular basis. All staff are DBS checked at an enhanced level.

Due to the popularity of our club it is necessary to register for a placement. Please ask any member of staff for a registration and contact form to apply. Our current prices are £4 for Breakfast Club and £7 for After School Club. For further information of our policies and procedures or for an information pack please call into our clubs during opening times or ask at the School Reception.
