Spring half term saw a special delivery for Year 1 of five duckling eggs! The children were able to watch the eggs in the incubator and then see them as they first pipped and then hatched and when they dried out be transferred into their new home.

As they grew each class spent time observing, handling and teaching them to swim. In English Year 1 wrote leaflets about how to look after ducklings. They also made observational drawings and explored the life-cycle of a duck.
