World Book Day

It was not hard to find 'Wally' on World Book Day at Langstone Infant School as children and staff came dressed as the classic book character.

The school was a sea of red and white to celebrate 30 years of the 'Where's Wally' book, created by the English illustrator Martin Handford.

Wally was hidden around the school for children to find during the day and they also took part in lots of 'Wally' activities in their different classrooms.

A special photo of the whole school was taken in the school hall with staff hiding in amongst the children. Here it is for you to see. IMG_2241-1-.jpg

Pupils brought books into school and swapped them with their classmates as part of the celebration day of reading.

Please have a look at our classes dressed as 'Where's Wally' characters on World Book Day.
